چکیده

ABSTRACT. Liquid–liquid equilibrium data and the phase diagrams were measured for ternary (neopentyl glycol + sodium formate water) system at various temperatures of 303.15, 313.15 323.15 K. The effect temperature on conjugate tie-line length investigated have been studied. results showed that increases two-phase area was slightly increased by decreasing temperature. fitting parameters Pirdashti Merchuk equations obtained with dependence expressed in linear form, respectively. Compared equation, binodal curves satisfactorily described using equation T = (303.15, 323.15) K, critical points different estimated extrapolation. Furthermore, Hand, Othmer-Tobias Bachman models used correlation behavior studied system. According to reported coefficients values, it found acceptable consistency better fitness equation.

Effect of Magnetic Field on the Liquid-liquid Equilibria of (Water + Acetic Acid + Organic Solvent) Ternary Systems

The effect of magnetic field on the liquid-liquid equilibrium of two ternary systems (water + acetic acid + butyl acetate and water + acetic acid + dimethyl succinate) at 298.15 K under atmospheric pressure was investigated. The results obtained show that the strength of the magnetic field (0.02 T) affects the solubility of acetic acid in the used organic solvents. Distribution coefficients and...

Liquid-Liquid Equilibrium for the Ternary Systems of Solvent+ m/o/p-Cresol+Water: Thermodynamic Modeling

In this study, NRTL and UNIQUAC thermodynamic models were used to predict the composition of ternary mixtures of solvents+ m/o/p-cresol+ water in organic and aqueous phases. Various solvents are used for the separation of cresols from water. In this study, methyl propyl ketone, methyl isopropyl ketone, methyl butyl ketone, and methyl isobutyl ketone solvents were investigated. Intermolecular in...

Phase Equilibria of the Ternary System Water + Phosphoric Acid + 1-Nonanol at Different Temperatures

The purpose of this reaserch is to measure the phase equilibrium data of the ternary system (water + phosphoric acid + 1-nonanol) at different temperatures. Experimental solubility curves and tie-line points for the system were obtained at T = 298.2, 308.2 and 318.2 K and ambient pressure. The binodal curve data were detected by the cloud point method. The mass fractions of each layer ...

Liquid-Liquid Equilibrium of Poly(Ethylene Glycol) 6000 + Sodium Succinate + Water System at Different Temperatures

Phase diagrams and the compositions of coexisting phases of poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) 6000 + sodium succinate + water system have been determined experimentally at 298.15, 308.15, and 318.15 K. The effects of temperature on the binodal curve and tie lines have been studied. The binodal curves were successfully fitted to a nonlinear equation relating the concentrations of PEG 6000 and sodium s...
